“Passports” exhibition

Bern – The Polish Embassy in Switzerland

The “Passports” exhibition, dedicated to the reactions of the underground state and the government-in-exile to the crimes of the Holocaust, was opened at the Polish Embassy in Bern. The ceremony was attended by Prof. Piotr Gliński, Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Dr. Wojciech Kozłowski, director of the Pilecki Institute, Jakub Kumoch, Polish ambassador to Switzerland, and Dr. Piotr Cywiński, director of the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum. The aim of the exhibition was to present the role of the Polish government-in-exile and the Polish Underground State in informing the world about the extermination of Jews and the actions taken to save them. The exhibition was organized by the Pilecki Institute in cooperation with the Polish Embassy in Switzerland. The exhibition was supported by the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum.
